Sympathy

Today I have a sympathy card I made. I kept it simple and understated. I hope you like it.
I used some flowers I found at Joann Fabrics, some simple ribon and a little charm that says "The Lord be with you" on it. The background paper is from the DCWV Mariposa stack, I just LOVE that paper pack!!!
Thanks for looking!!!

PS: I'm sorry about the picture not being that great, I must have taken 10 pictures of this card in different lights and I just couldn't get it to look right.

Cake is good

Good afternoon everyone and let me just say, thanks for sticking with me since it's been a while since I've posted. Between moving and losing my mojo, it hasn't been a good last few months. But I am slowly getting things back in order and getting my creativity back...so here's my project for today.

I made a cute little card to give for a birthday (I don't know who's yet, but we can always use birthday cards). My image for this card is from the Stamping Boutique and I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it, she is just soooo cute!!! I cut the background with my top note die from SU and used DCWV Mariposa paper (I just LOVE this paper pack). I then added a big yellow flower that I bought at Michaels (to bring out the color of the cake). I'm not sure yet if I am going to add a bow or not, so let me know what your thoughts about that are.

Well I hope you enjoy the card and are having a great weekend with friends and family. Thanks for looking!!!
